WHO WE ARE
We are an Afghan refugee group in Malaysia and we work with each other at NAHEL AFGHAN COMMUNITY CENTER. We work voluntarily, we are not linked to any political group and we are an independent group.
If anyone want to join us, you are most welcome.
OUR DREAMS
We hope the power of community can overcome some problems that people face and contribute to an easier and better life in Malaysia: through better health knowledge and education, entertainment and sport.

OUR STORY
Living in Malaysia is so difficult for refugees as Malaysian people have a different culture, a different language. When you know the culture and the language, you can better integrate. The ACC was created to solve the problems of Afghan refugees in the country, especially with finding housing, jobs and sharing opportunities to live in an easier and better way.
Because living in Malaysia is very hard, the ACC tries to improve afghan refugees daily lives by:
- Advocating and protecting the Community.
- Improving and solving problems of Afghan refugees during their stay in Malaysia.
- Transferring the incoming information from UNHCR to Afghan refugees and explain to the UNHCR the problems community members face.
- Explaining the problems of the community to other organizations who could help.
- Resolving the problems of the community through the community members, for example refugees being arrested and detained.
Afghan refugees solve their own social problems, as we are refugees we can not go to the court to solve our problems, so the ACC is here to help.
